Mobility
This year, Bitkom's Digital Mobility Conference will be integrated into the hub.conference.
The digitization of transport has many facets. Autonomous vehicles will soon change everyday mobility, intelligent solutions are expanding rail capacity, digitization is boosting efficiency in the air, and promising autonomous solutions are also emerging on the water. Whether it's more traffic safety, less congestion, or new mobility offerings - end-to-end digitally conceived mobility ensures resilience, flexibility, and sustainability in transportation. The full potential can only be exploited if the modes of transport are not viewed separately from one another, but as an ecosystem.
Mobility is becoming more diverse and intertwined, both privately and for business. The change in the mobility behaviour of users entails a wide reorientation: Sharing concepts, autonomous vehicles and intelligent freight and passenger transport are just a fraction of what’s to come in the mobility revolution.
Germany was the first country in the world to create the legal framework for the regular operation of autonomous vehicles on public roads. As a result, autonomous mobility will soon become an integral part of our everyday lives.
Public and private mobility providers play an important role on the path to sustainable transformation of transport - and they do so together. By intelligently linking public transport with flexible private mobility solutions, a common goal can be achieved: strengthening the quality and diversity of offerings.
Mobility data is increasingly coming into focus in the debate about the future of transport. What about the design of a European data infrastructure and the Mobility Data Space? What added value does an open, secure and fair exchange of data create? What role does a digital transport infrastructure play?
