Stage
Phone camera viewfinder

The European Commission's Green Deal sets clear milestones for a sustainable economy. The goal is to make Europe a climate-neutral continent by 2050. Circular Economy is a core element of the Green Deal and will radically change our economic cycles and digitalise them even further. In fact, digitalisation will boost the entire transformation towards a circular economy. It will suppport closing the material loops by providing accurate information on the availability, location and condition of products and material properties. These days we are seeing more circular business models emerging and the advantages for companies are obvious: they are resource-conserving, resilient and profitable!  But how do you get started in the Circular Economy? How do you transform an economic system? Which levers are individually voluntary and which only work as a broad, predefined foundation? Are there perhaps good business models that could be used as a examples? And what does all this have to do with standardisation?

What added value can you take away from the event?  You:

  • get to know the pioneers of the Circular Economy,
  • gain insights into the meaning of the rules of the game for this important future field
  • get insights about the concrete benefits of circular standards!
