Carina Mieth

Core team member and leader of the Stuttgart Chapter at Women in AI & Robotics Germany, promoting gender-inclusive, ethical, and responsible AI solutions for societal benefit since April 2022. I'm working as a self-employed consultant focusing on high-tech and sustainability projects.

Previous roles:
- Formerly worked as a consultant in the Operations Practice of McKinsey & Company 
- Led TRUMPF machine tools climate strategy for reducing Scope 3 emissions
- Served as an advisor to the Managing Director of R+D at TRUMPF Machine Tools, specializing in AI, robotics, climate strategy implementation in product development, and future production system design.
- Led the development of TRUMPF's Smart Factory Simulation & Analytics team, building simulation model libraries and frameworks to create digital twins of sheet metal production—managed simulation projects for customers, providing comprehensive factory solutions.

Education: I studied electrical engineering and information technology at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and am pursuing a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering at the TU Dortmund University.
