Carolin Ackermann

Carolin Ackermann is CEO and Co-Founder of SEAWATER Cubes, a deep-tech manufacturing startup in Saarbrücken. SEAWATER Cubes mission is ensuring seafood security for the population. Therefore, the company was funded by Exist Forschungstransfer to develop the SEAWATER Cube. With the recirculating aquaculture system, the team empowers ambitious farmers to diversify their business and establish a decentral, automated infrastructure for onland farming of clean, healthy seafish.

Carolin holds a M.Sc. in Marketing and a B.A. in Economics. For the Bundesverband Deutsche Startups e.V., Carolin is the state spokesperson for Saarland.

She is a foodlover, believes in the potential of research spin-offs to transform our society and is an advocate for entrepreneurship and environmental responsibility.
