Chris Lehane leads Airbnb’s work with policymakers around the world to develop dialogue and relationships that foster healthy travel and economic opportunity for the communities where we operate.
Chris also oversees our strategic communications work that helps consumers understand the benefits of Airbnb's local, authentic approach to hosting.
Chris served in various positions in the Clinton Administration, including as Press Secretary to Vice President Al Gore, Special Assistant Counsel to President Bill Clinton, and Counselor to Housing and Urban Development Secretary Andrew Cuomo.
Chris is a graduate of Harvard Law School and Amherst College. He lives in San Francisco with his wife Andrea, a human rights lawyer, and two sons, Dominic and Quincy. Chris is an Airbnb host in California.
