With a MS degree in computer science and automation system, his major research lines address Advanced distributed and model predictive (process) control systems, Advanced planning and scheduling, and Computer Aided Control System Development (CACSD), Advanced machining solutions for special applications in Machining and Additive Manufacturing, Solutions for modular LCA analysis and value chain management of manufacturing processes. Scientific Coordinator of research projects at European (FP5, FP6, FP7, H2020 programmes) and national level, and responsible of several innovation contracts on with industry.
