Dr Kai Lindow

Dr. Kai Lindow is an expert in sustainability through digital technologies and has been involved in industry-oriented research and development of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions in this context for more than 10 years. Dr Lindow is involved in various industrial and scientific working groups and regularly gives lectures on the above-mentioned topics. 

After studying mechanical engineering in Berlin and Stockholm, he completed his doctorate on the topic of "Knowledge-based development of sustainable products". He then conducted post-doctoral research at the interface between mechanical engineering and information technology. He coordinated numerous specialist research projects at the Department of Industrial Information Technology at the TU Berlin. He then took over as head of the Information and Process Control Department at Fraunhofer IPK. He currently heads the Virtual Product Creation business unit at Fraunhofer IPK.
