Franka Birke
Franka Birke has 18 years of experience in the start-up industry.
She worked for six years at the Chair of Technology and Innovation Management at the Technical University of Berlin, where she completed her doctorate on the topic of technological competence and success in young companies. She then built up Germany's first clean tech accelerator, Climate-KIC at the EUREF Campus Berlin, as lead project manager. In 2016, she took over as acting director of the Centre for Entrepreneurship. Franka Birke is also a PropTech representative of the ZIA Zentraler Immobilien Ausschuss e.V., a jury member at the EnergyAwards and on the board of Bitkom's Smart City working group. As CEO, she represents metr externally and is responsible in particular for customer acquisition, financial and personnel planning, and the acquisition of venture capital.
