Jasmin Hasel

Jasmin Hasel has been with Scanline VFX for over 14 years  and is currently Vice President, Executive Producer and European Operations, responsible for the overall management of Scanline’s three European locations as well as supporting the various individual project teams per title. Alongside this, Jasmin is focused on cultivating new business within the global VFX market while strengthening existing client relationships. With over 80 credits to her name, recent titles include the latest Star Wars series, Andor, Netflix’s Stranger Things 4 and The Batman for director Matt Reeves.

Jasmin joined Scanline’s Munich studio in 2008 as a Visual Effects Producer, working on a number of German television films and mini-series. In 2014, Jasmin became Executive Producer for Germany, playing an instrumental role in opening the company’s Stuttgart location. When Scanline’s London studio opened in 2019, Jasmin added COO to her title, overseeing three physical studios as well as numerous artists working remotely. Netflix’s acquisition of Scanline saw Jasmin move into her current role as Vice President.
