Martin K. Müller

Martin K. Müller (born 1961) has been a member of the DekaBank Board of Management since 1 May 2013. He is responsible for the banking business areas (Capital Markets, Credits, Real Estate Lending) and Custodian.
From January 2005 to April 2013, Müller was a member of the Board of Management of Landesbank Berlin, where he was responsible for the risk and controlling, S-Servicepartner GmbH, lending and risk management areas. Starting in 1995, he was director of the international funding department and head of the treasury area, among other things, at Bankgesellschaft Berlin.
Before acting as a holder of general power of attorney for the investment holding company of Deutsche Handelsbank (DHB) and as product manager for merchant banking, he was assistant to the Chairman of the Board of Management of DHB. Müller studied law and holds degrees in Germany and the United States, and began his professional career at a Lübeck business law firm and Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC) in Sydney.
