PhD Sabrina Bassetto

Sabrina Bassetto hold an PhD in applied mathematics with a master in Computational Science and Engineering. During her PhD she developed a C++ prototype from scratch to perform numerical simulations of multiphase flows in porous media. Hence, she enhanced her skills in scientific programming and fluid dynamics. Since last year, she works as Mathematical and Optimization research Engineer in Head Research, one of the business units of Spindox SPA. Here, she focuses on algorithms development for optimization problems in Java and Python language. Moreover, she is part of the funded project scouting and proposal group with a technical role and, recently, also as project manager.
