Thomas Treml leads Technology and Strategy in Public Sector Microsoft Germany, he joined Microsoft in 2007. Educated in Sociology and Computer Science, he spent his entire professional career in TCP/IP networks, their design, implementation and optimization. Based in Berlin he is engaged in projects ranging from Data Sovereignty to Decentralized Identity with customers and partners. He evangelizes Quantum technologies in the field of optimization and cryptography being a Quantum Ambassador.
