Xavier Lagardère

Xavier has been appointed Chief Data Officer for Lufthansa Group in January 2021. He is responsible for LHGs data strategy & governance and enables the transformation of LHG towards a data-driven airline group. Additionally, with his appointment as Vice President leading the establishment of the Group-wide Innovation Management, he is now also responsible for accelerating innovation, setting up of innovation partnerships and aligning the Group's innovation potential.

Before his current appointment he held various leadership and enginnering roles within Lufthansa Group and the travel and mobility industry.

Xavier holds a master degree in computer science form Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and a master in business administration from INSEAD.
